Small Business Saturday
We’re delighted to announce that the @smallbizsatuk annual event which was postponed due to the storms in December – is back on for Sat 29th MARCH!
With huge thanks to LB First for organising our local independent businesses to come along to the market.
Small Business Saturday UK is a grassroots, non-commercial campaign, which highlights small business success and encourages consumers to ‘shop local’ and support small businesses in their communities.
The day itself takes place on the first Saturday in December each year, but the campaign aims to have a lasting impact on small businesses.
On Small Business Saturday, customers across the U.K. go out and support all types of small businesses, online, in offices and in stores. Many small businesses take part in the day by hosting events and offering discounts.
We are pleased to once again be working with @LBFirst to bring local small businesses together. LB First is a not-for-profit that champions small businesses in Leighton Buzzard & Linslade.

French MarketAn experienced French Market team, bringing first class produce and excellent service to towns across the UK. France at Home is a well established team, having initiated the very first French Market to be held in the UK as long ago as 1994. Still the only authentic French Team & the only one to be a member of Franco-British chamber of commerce & industry. We get more and more requests for visits as the success of our markets is widely recognised. Our traders mostly come from different ‘departments’ in Normandy crossing the Channel to offer a wide range of top quality products. These are generally local and regional cheeses, bread freshly baked every day, patisserie products, olives and dried fruits, handbags, jewellery, provencal soaps, and much more. Our stall-holders selling meat and dairy produce have all received the UK Level 2 Award in Food Safety.
